Working from a comprehensive plan developed for migrating your network, voice and data communications as well as your servers, this Relotech service provides for the installation and relocation of servers and their hardware features, peripherals and any necessary racks, shelving, power units or stations. Relocation work includes the de-installation of the customer's equipment, moving the equipment from the current location to the new location, and the installation of the hardware at the new location, and optionally, the decabling and recabling as well. In conjunction with your IT and Facilities departments, we identify the equipment and services in place and review the level of documentation available, and indentify overlooked requirements. The outcome is a written description of the existing environment, a written description of, and plans for, the new environment as well as the detailed plan for creating the new environment and migrating the existing equipment and services to it.
By getting involved early we can provide the detailed schedules, floor maps, rack diagrams, network documentation and project management to ensure your relocation is a success with no unscheduled downtime. The early involvement also allows for us to build a team tuned to your specific requirements and ensure we have the correct people in the right locations on move day.  Coupled with our physical move team's ability to work quickly and precisely we are able to very accurately predict lengths of outages so you can manage your business around the relocation process more effectively.
